i had thought i would give news through this blog. obviously im not doing it well ;)

the truth is that im learning and doing so much, i should give an account of each course, each hour. but i cannot, so i dont say nothing.

in each course i mainly practice, so now i can say i touched paper animation, puppet animation, 3D animation (maya), 2D computer animation (photoshop, flash, after effect), drawing animation (my favourite), storyboard, layout (where i learnt to like making backgrounds). it is unlikely that any of my work on this will ever be on the blog, partly because it's shit, parlty because i dont have time n patience for it.

the mime course is coooooool: the teacher is an american born and has a typical accent (for the french connoiseurs: "jay may may suw mon fesse et, oh my godt, puuutaiinn.." ;) we got his wife teaching us once, and she's german born, with a quite slight accent (so saad..). with both, we learn to feel how each part, each articulation, each muscle of the body can move, how to express something by movements only. because when you know how to moe, you know how to animate the movement. and we make improvisation as well.

the english course is helping us follow the news, and soon we'll ve to make an animatic from a stupid story we invented. the teacher is northern irish born :)

the art and cinema courses can be full of philosophy

between the courses, there are books to read and dvds to watch (free renting), music to play, partys, meetings, new things to discover (apart from practizing what we learnt at the courses, at the moment i'd like to learn the making of dolls. and to work on colours. and..) and living obligations.

at the moment i realized i was more n more often promising time i already planned to use.
